Meet the Family Behind Lime Kiln Cottages

Hi! We're Tyler and Delanie, a husband and wife team (plus our three littles, and our lab-mastiff x, Huxley) who recently became the proud owners of Lime Kiln Cottages.

Seeing the Lime Kiln Cottages was love at first sight. The history of the property, surrounded by the charm of Inverhuron was the perfect combination! Tucked just a row back from the shores of Lake Huron, these five cozy cottages hold nearly a century of memories, and we're honoured to be their next caretaker. Though we reside elsewhere in beautiful Bruce County, Lime Kiln Cottages immediately felt like a special extension of home. The serenity of the lawns, the call of the lake, and the timeless simplicity of the cottage life are things we've always valued. When we had the chance to take on this historic property, we knew it was something worth preserving. Since taking ownership, our focus has been on bringing the cottages back to life: refreshing spaces, deep cleaning, and tending to the behind-the-scenes fixes that help keep everything running smoothly. And we aren't done yet! We thank all of our guests in the 2025 season for being so understanding while we work through the kinks of new ownership. Bit by bit, we hope to honour the rustic charm of Lime Kiln Cottages, while adding thoughtful touches to make every stay comfortable and welcoming.

Our hope is simple: that each guest feels the same sense of peace, connection, and nostalgia that we felt the second we set foot on the property.
